There are many interesting walks straight from the door so it is easy to get out exploring the island. Guests may well find it hard to tear themselves away from this peaceful haven at the end of their stay. The lovely downstairs twin bedroom is practical for those of limited mobility as it has an en suite shower room with a large, walk-in shower and the cottage also has a convenient ramp to the front door for easy access. Tasty dishes can be whipped up in the bright country kitchen that is very well equipped and muddy shoes can be kicked off in the handy little boot room where there are hooks for drying coats, etc. The fabulous coastal location is particularly evident in the dining room where incredible uninterrupted views out over the garden to the sea and islands beyond are showcased.
Keep an eye out for the sea eagles and golden eagles that can often be spotted! Binoculars have been provided for a closer look at the oyster catchers and curlews that wade along the shoreline. Cosy nights can be spent relaxing in comfort on the sofas by the wood-burning stove and chairs positioned by the large picture window ensure that the stunning vista can be appreciated whatever the weather.
